Vendor Terms & Conditions

By registering as a vendor on Shastrafy, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Vendor Registration

To become a vendor on Shastrafy, you must:

  • Provide accurate business details
  • Verify email and phone number
  • Provide valid contact information
  • Agree to platform policies
  • Sell only permitted products

Shastrafy reserves the right to approve or reject vendor registration.

2. Vendor Account Responsibility

Vendor is responsible for:

  • Maintaining login credentials
  • Managing product listings
  • Updating stock availability
  • Processing orders on time
  • Responding to customer queries

Any misuse of vendor panel may lead to suspension.

3. Product Listing Guidelines

Vendor agrees that:

  • All products must be genuine
  • Product images must be real
  • Description must match product
  • No counterfeit products allowed
  • No illegal items allowed
  • Pricing must be accurate

Shastrafy reserves right to remove any product.

4. Commission & Charges

  • Shastrafy charges 20% commission per order
  • Commission is deducted before payout
  • Payment gateway charges may apply
  • Vendor responsible for GST and taxes
  • Commission subject to change with notice

5. Order Processing

Vendor must:

  • Accept order within 24 hours
  • Ship product within committed timeline
  • Provide tracking details
  • Pack product safely
  • Ensure product quality

Failure may result in:

  • Penalty
  • Listing removal
  • Account suspension

6. Shipping Model

Shastrafy supports two shipping methods:

Vendor Shipping

Vendor will:

  • Pack product
  • Arrange courier
  • Upload tracking ID
  • Handle delivery

Shastrafy Shipping

Shastrafy will:

  • Arrange pickup
  • Deliver to customer
  • Provide tracking
  • Handle logistics

Shipping method depends on vendor selection.

7. Returns & Refund Policy

Returns are accepted only in case of:

  • Product damaged in transit
  • Wrong product delivered
  • Product broken during delivery

Vendor agrees:

  • Accept return request
  • Replace product OR refund
  • Bear cost if vendor packed poorly
  • Cooperate with dispute resolution

Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

8. Payment & Settlement

  • Payment released after order delivery
  • Settlement cycle: 14 days
  • Commission deducted before payout
  • Refunds deducted from vendor balance
  • Shastrafy may hold payment for disputes
  • Minimum payout: ₹500

9. Vendor Performance

Shastrafy monitors:

  • Order cancellation rate
  • Late shipping
  • Customer complaints
  • Return ratio
  • Product quality

Low performance may lead to:

  • Listing removal
  • Account suspension
  • Vendor termination

10. Prohibited Activities

Vendor must NOT:

  • Sell fake products
  • Upload copied images
  • Manipulate pricing
  • Cancel orders intentionally
  • Misuse customer data
  • Contact customers outside platform

Violation may lead to permanent ban.

11. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendor is responsible for:

  • Product quality
  • Packaging safety
  • Legal compliance
  • Warranty (if applicable)
  • Taxes & invoices

Shastrafy acts only as marketplace platform.

12. Account Suspension / Termination

Shastrafy may suspend vendor for:

  • Policy violations
  • Fraud activity
  • Poor performance
  • High return rate
  • Fake product complaints

Termination can occur without prior notice.

13. Intellectual Property

Vendor grants Shastrafy permission to:

  • Use product images
  • Display brand logo
  • Promote listings
  • Use content in marketing

Vendor confirms ownership of content.

14. Limitation of Liability

Shastrafy is not responsible for:

  • Vendor product defects
  • Courier delays
  • Vendor losses
  • Customer misuse
  • Third-party service failures

Platform acts as intermediary only.

15. Policy Updates

Shastrafy may modify:

  • Commission
  • Vendor policies
  • Shipping rules
  • Payment terms

Continued use means acceptance.

16. Governing Law

This agreement governed by laws of India.
